Ok, so maybe this is becoming a sewing blog!

I got this idea from crafster.com to turn an old mens dress shirt into little girl's dress. Heavens knows we have plenty of dress shirts in this house so I grabbed one and got to work. I think it turned out pretty cute for $1.50 of trim and $.98 of elastic.

...and yes I know that I need to make the boys something... I am getting on that this week.

I decided to make Ava a dress to match Emma's... but they were out of the black material. I went w/contrasting material and I think they turned out cute. Of course I had pretty cute models ;)

But my mom wanted to see pictures of the dresses I have made Emma. They aren't the best pics because Miss Priss wasn't in the mood for picture taking.

I have wanted a new sewing machine for a while now and Chris suprised me with one on Monday. I thought I would post pictures of my first sewing project. Mostly for my Aunt Judy to see.
